10. Selling Houses with Sarah Beeny
This is another real estate show so it doesn't really catch my attention, but if that's what your looking for in a show then this is a good choice. She has three people her episode, which is more people than usual another reason I'm not to keen on it.

9. Buy Herself
This isn't my favorite show, because its more on the real estate side of home improvements. Whereas I prefer a show that either fixes something or shows me a more extravagant house.Sandra Rinomato helps single women navigate the ins and outs of purchasing their first home.

3. Grand Designs Australia
I like this show because it takes you to a completely different country and shows you there houses and styles. I love to see the different architecture and what Australia considers as a "grand" design.

2. What's For Sale? With a View
I love this show because it takes you around the world to new sights and locations. I'm a stickler for a good view, especially when it comes to your home, a place you should feel the most comfortable. This one intrigues me because when I was on vacation I was able to take a tour around a lake and see houses similar to this one.

1. The Worlds Most Extraordinary Homes
This is my all times favorite show on Netflix because I love the locations it brings you to. Most episodes are shot in the United States, and I love the mystery of what comes. I never even knew these places were a thing until I started watching this show.

Hello Everyone,
Today i am going to be sharing with your a little bit about a blog I was looking through. Its written by Kate Arends who is from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The main reason why i choose to read about her was not only because shes from Minnesota but because she writes about home decor. Her three most recent post where on the up coming Christmas season and how shes going to decorate. Shes going with a white and gold, earthy theme this year. She choose this theme because she loves the holidays but she felt that as she got older and she had more valuable pieces in her house it would be better to take it down a notch with the Christmas decor. She did mention that the excitement of the holidays brings out the 12 year old in her, but she just decided to get her team together to help her with a different approach at her holiday decorating.

Guest Post: Decorating the Table for the Holidays

Hello everyone! This is Alisha Fogelson from Alisha's Cooking Blog and I am taking over Bri's amazing home decor blog for the day to share some of my decor tips of how to decorate your dinner table for the Holidays. The dinner table is a main area where family's go for the Holidays so instead of having a bla table lets get festive! One thing that I believe is a major necessity is the center piece. It could be simple, for example a glass vase with lights, some ornaments, anything festive. Just make sure that the colors match each other and your house. If you are having a hard time finding the perfect center piece you could also use a few candles in the center and jazz them up a bite with ribbon. I think it is key to use an odd number of items for your center piece, making it look more professional. Now when you have figured out your center piece find a table runner that matches, it should be a toned down color so we focus on the center piece. Then put little items around the center piece, maybe some evergreen leaves, cranberries, acorns, anything small that fills in the space of the table. And finally find some plates that match, if they do not you can use some of your left-of decor pieces and place them on the plate to add a little pzazz. Your silverware should be wrapped in a nice cloth that again matches your decor. Finally look back the the table and see if it all looks good together. If its not perfect, mess around with it a bit, it will come together eventually. Have it be your own thing, if you like the style then it perfect, nobody's taste is the same but here are a few images to get your juices flowing for ideas. I hope some of these types or ideas help you through your Holiday season!

College Room

Hello All,
College is quickly approaching for me, so obviously that means that the least important part of it has been on my mind. How am i going to decorate my room? I am going to be living in an apartment with four other roommates. I'm super excited, and even more excited that i have my own room to decorate. But, the apartment complex gives you the option to have a furnished or unfurnished apartment. So, naturally i chose the furnished option because then I don't have to find things such as a desk, couch, TV stand, bar stools. But, when the director of the apartments called me back and told me that that option was full that meant I was stuck in an unfurnished apartment. No problem, that just means I have to be a little more creative and find a way to be frugal and get all the items i need. I have a large cork board that I plan on making half into a white board. That's just a very small part of things I can do to save money but, pinterest will help with some inspiration.

Hello All,
Today I am going to share with you a story about my niece. My sister and her family moved into a new house about five years ago, it is a massive three story house with four bedrooms upstairs. Which meant that every child got there own room. My niece, Meg, got the largest one of course as she is the only girl in there family. So, her room was a large room accented in white trim, with a large closet that has white doors and most importantly a large window with a rounded top. The ceiling is high, and the room screams girly girl. Meg was only about four at the time but was a sassy little spit fire and when it came to the way she wanted her room she had an opinion. My sister kept the walls the mauve green color they originally were and added a flower canvas to the wall above her bed. Her bed frame matched the trim and was a very elegant white. The comforter was a dark purple color and it went well with the rest of the room, but there was one missing piece, the drapes covering the window. The sun rose in that window so it was super crucial to get drapes up. My sister didn't just want to slap on some basic white ones, she wanted to get custom ones and she wanted Meg to help pick it out. So, my sister went to the fabric store and picked out a couple different pink patterns letting Meg choose from them. Meg was not fond of any of them and REALLY did not want them, but my sister went through with it any ways. When they were finished and ready to hang up Meg wanted nothing to do with them. On one Saturday afternoon when they were all hanging out at home Meg had been playing alone for awhile, so my sister was making her way around the house to see what she was up to. Little did she know she was about to walk into Megs room and see the blinds ripped right off the rod. She couldn't really be upset because she knew Meg was not impressed but, her attempt was worth a shot.

Kitchen Remodel Reviews

Hello Readers,
Today I have decided to review a short video from Joanna Gaines showing two kitchen that she remodeled. The first kitchen was a very open with a lot of white and stainless steel, it was very sleek and clean. Some of the key elements that stuck out to me were the architectural pillars, the long island in the center, and the gray back splash that was smooth and clean. These pieces made for a happy and inviting area. The second kitchen she remodeled was a dining room and kitchen that were in two separate room, but she took down a wall and again it made for a much more open area. This kitchen is also all white with a simple gray back splash. One of the key elements that i like is the double island feature, with white marble counter tops it adds a lot to the room. Considering the cost and the before and after of these kitchens I would definitely agree that it is worth the cost. On a scale of one to ten i would rank these kitchens at a 8, i really enjoyed the white and clean features that it had.

How to Christmas Decorations

Hello Christmas Lovers,
As the Christmas season is here and upon us i would like to bring to the table some ideas for Christmas decorating. This is my favorite time of the year to make sure my house is filled from head to toe with Christmas Spirit. The two diy crafts of today will be a Santa Claus Christmas wreath for your front door, and mason jar Christmas ornaments. Both these items work great for gifts or your own home. Enjoy!

Supplies Needed:
Pool noodle
Duck Tape
Variety pack of red bulbs
Small piece of black and gold felt
Twine
Hot glue gun
1. Put the noodle in a circle to the size you'd like and duck tape the ends together.
2. Measure five inches of twine and hot glue it to the noodle as shown above so it has a way to hang.
3. Take all the tops off the bulbs.
4. Start hot gluing the bulbs around the noodle however you'd like.
5. Cut a piece of the black felt out that's four inches wide and measure it based on the length of your wreath.
6. Hot glue that piece on.
7. Next cut out the buckle as shown above, an exacto knife works best for this step.
8. Add any finishing touches to your liking and hang on the front door.

Supplies Needed:
Twine
Mason jar lids, whatever side you want
Glue gun
sticker/ images
Fabric scraps
Scissors
1.Cut off a piece of twine and tie it around the out ring. Size is up to you.
2.Cut out a square of fabric bigger than the inter circle, set the the flat part of the lid on it and put the remainder of the fabric on the back and glue it.
3. Put the flat part back into the twisty top.
4. Add stickers or decorations to it as desired, examples above.
5. Add any personal touch, put the cranberries next to the top, add a little bow, ect.

Choosing the Right Paint Color

How To Pick the Perfect Paint Color

Step 1: First pick what fabrics and inspiration pieces you will be using to decorate the area.

Step 2: If you find a color you love in a fabric, in a magazine, in the garden, take it to the paint store and match it to a color chip.

Step 3: Don’t buy your paint directly from this color selector and matching tools, especially when you’re matching to a fabric.

Step 4: . Don’t make any rash decisions. Take your time and do your research and you won’t have any regrets. You don’t want to rush a paint job. Or a paint selection job.
